Business items to discuss

  • Desks and office chairs
  • Tables and freestanding shelving
  • Empty filing cabinets
  • Store displays and loose fixtures
  • Storage-room clutter
  • Packaging from a move or fit-out

Confirm electronics acceptance, dismantling, and fixture removal separately. Records destruction and data wiping should not be assumed to be part of a cleanout.

Coordinate the space and the schedule

Make a removal inventory
Count desks, chairs, cabinets, and other large pieces. Mark leased equipment and items moving to a new location so they are kept out of the pickup.
Check building requirements
Ask management about loading dock access, freight elevator reservations, pickup hours, and required documents. Share those details before confirming the appointment.
Plan around business activity
Describe occupied work areas, access restrictions, and any lease handover deadline. Ask whether the volume and available pickup window require more than one stage.
