The analytics cookie

On the live website, the analytics script creates a first-party cookie named _ra_uid. It contains a randomly generated identifier and a date, and expires after one year. The cookie uses Secure and SameSite=Lax settings.

The script sends page views, the current page path, referral information, device category, and selected link or button clicks to a same-origin endpoint at /api/data. We process these events for aggregate website reporting. The cookie is not used for advertising or shared with third-party advertisers.

Exclude your browser

Open any page on this website with ?ra_ignore=1 at the end of its address to stop analytics in that browser. The preference is saved in local storage as _ra_ignore, and remains in effect for future visits.

Open a page with ?ra_ignore=0 to enable tracking again. This preference applies separately to each browser, device, and website origin. Clearing your browser’s site data also clears the preference.

Draft and local previews

The tracker does not send events from local HTTP previews, localhost, or Vercel preview addresses ending in .vercel.app.
